Justin Smart

Chief Operating Officer

As Chief Operating Officer for Trilogy since 2007, Justin is responsible for managing the groups operations, focusing on process improvement and automation to provide quality services to stakeholders. Justin is a Certified Practising Accountant who has extensive experience in financial services, technology, auditing, and strategic planning. He has utilised this expertise at Trilogy by implementing critical business systems and improvements to provide the insights necessary to drive the business forward.  Justin is passionate about continual improvement, through facilitating a supportive and collaborative company culture and searching for ways to improve how we provide services to our stakeholders. Prior to joining Trilogy, Justin held various senior management roles within the financial services sector.

David Hogan

Head of Property Assets

David has had more than 40 years property finance industry experience through various cycles and market conditions. He was one of the founders of Trilogy in 2004, and applies his experience in risk management, capital structuring, lending, acquisitions, and property syndications to the management of Trilogy Funds’ property assets. David was a key instigator of the Trilogy Industrial Property Trust and is actively involved in its ongoing management. David is also the Chairman of the Trilogy Funds Lending Committee and is a member of the Treasury Committee. David was previously an Executive Director of Challenger Property Capital Limited and played a significant role in the development of its global commercial property portfolio, which had an estimated value in excess of $2.6 billion.

Adam Somerville

Financial Controller

Adam is a qualified CPA bringing over 20 years of accounting and management experience to the Trilogy team. Working primarily across the property and financial services sectors, Adam has held senior finance roles in smaller privately owned groups through to larger organisations including QIC Global Real Estate and AMP Capital Investors.

Adam is responsible for the complete finance function of Trilogy’s corporate entities, including AFSL requirements, as well as investor funds.

Alison Lancaster

Head of Investor Relations & Distribution

Alison has extensive experience in investments, financial services and investment banking. In her role as Head of Investor Relations and Distribution, Alison is responsible for the Investor Relations team who are the first port of call for Investors in any Trilogy product. She also manages the Distribution team at Trilogy and develops the strategy for both direct and indirect investments including compliance, business planning and processes. Alison leads the operational performance of the department including risk management, stakeholder engagement and relationship management.

Clinton Arentz

Head of Lending & Property Developments

Clinton has over 25 years’ experience in asset and facilities management, property development, and project delivery. He is responsible for Trilogy’s team of portfolio managers, overseeing the growth and management of the diverse construction loan portfolio, client and broker liaison and coordination, and new business development. Clinton also assists in identifying new property acquisition and value adding opportunities for Trilogy’s property trusts.

Prior to joining Trilogy, Clinton provided project structuring and development delivery services on commercial, industrial and residential projects in multiple locations. Several of his projects have achieved industry recognition among organisations such as Master Builders Association, Urban Development Institute of Australia, and the Property Council of Australia.

Clinton has been instrumental in the vast growth of Trilogy’s construction loan portfolio as well as coordinating and expanding Trilogy’s national lending focus since joining the business in 2017. He completed his MBA in 2019 and is passionate about providing exceptional service to our developer clients.

Zoe Voss

Human Resources Manager

Zoe joined Trilogy in 2004 and brings to the team 17 years of experience in financial services, office administration and human resources. Zoe is passionate about helping Trilogy make the most of their resources and talent to deliver expert services to clients, through improving methods and technologies to better meet the ever evolving requirements of Trilogy and it’s workforce and through developing company culture and employee relations.

Henry Elgood

Head of Governance & Risk

Henry leverages his experience in the financial services sector, and separately as a company director of several private companies, to oversee the governance, compliance and risk framework implemented across the Trilogy group. He provides oversight between the business strategy and risk management strategy. This is achieved by developing and implementing appropriate risk management measures to ensure there are appropriate controls and governance across the internal business functions.

Paula Lammey

Head of Marketing

Paula is a successful Communication and Marketing leader with 25+ years’ experience in Public, Private and NFP sectors in Australia and globally across the engineering, finance, consulting and charitable sectors. As Head of Marketing, Paula is responsible for customer focussed marketing strategy and implementation, corporate communication and Trilogy’s marketing channels.

Paula is known for her strong communication skills, ability to develop relationships and deliver valued advice and outcomes with C-Suites, Boards, senior management teams, strategic partners and external vendors.

Her marketing experience includes a multi-million dollar, global rebrand for Ausenco, leadership of regional and corporate marketing teams, management of social media and digital channels and delivery of a user-centric, industry-leading website for Ausenco.

With experience managing national and global budgets for a variety of businesses and projects and playing key roles in issues and crisis situations, Paula is commercially minded, risk aware and delivery focused
