One of uSelect Mortgage Investments’ current loan investments, Radius Woollongabba, was recently featured on The Urban Developer website. Majella Group’s chief executive officer Sebastian Monsour took some time out to discuss various topics including his property development philosophy, and how it will influence upcoming projects in Brisbane, and Portland, Maine, USA.
Monsour made mention of the ‘mixed-use’ trend as being somewhat of a misnomer, in that it is often spoken about in property development circles, but rarely executed properly. He spoke about Majella striving to develop true mixed-used projects, and the importance of location in achieving this.
The article features a photograph taken from the rooftop of the 91-apartment Radius development at Woolloongabba, of which Trilogy Funds is assisting with the refinancing of 16 units. The image encompasses the rooftop’s lap pool and spa, and overlooks a floodlit Gabba and the Brisbane CBD, with a Southeast Queensland sunset as backdrop. As shown in the photograph, this project, which is one of three individual loans currently open for investment, is well located.
The Radius, Woollongabba Mortgage Investment is secured by a first mortgage over 16 of the individually titled apartments, and is forecast to return investors 8.50%pa* (net of fees and expenses) paid monthly, with an anticipated loan term of 12 months from 29 August 2016.
